Wall tent stoves are the ones,the camp stove is the hart of the winter camp. Keeping warm gives a natural secure feeling for every outdoors person. This type of hunting is best enjoyed with proper equipment. The wood stove is the most practical method of heating your wall tent in most all hunting areas.  Trying to use other methods is not really recommended most all types of fuel will give off deadly fumes and are not very safe to sleep with such as propane and camp stove gas or white gas.

Some catalytic stoves have been used with varying degrees of success but most also have heavy moisture as the main byproduct from burning this will not really help to dry out your wet clothes in winter or fall conditions. Wall tent stoves

What we are trying to say here is you can reinvent the winter camp system used by the most professional camp users in history and freeze your but off. Or you can use the methods hunting guides use to earn a living guiding hunters, or hikers in cold conditions. These folks pay thousands a week for a hunt and they come back year after year to stay in the most comfortable made bush camps in the world.

I  see no reason to try and improve on happy customers. What I have seen is a few millwrites invented there own wood stoves to great success. This stile in the photo is an exact replicate of a 45 gallon drum stove made at least once in every town in Canada at one time or the other.

A lot of big truck shops in BC had these in them up until a few years ago more like 20 years ago I guess but it would not take long to find one in use,   in Canada. This wall tent set up ,camp stove with a camp cot, and -0 sleeping bag is the best way to set up.  It cost a lot to out fit your hunting party but, when you have all it it should last a long time and for the most part take a beating with out trouble.
