Good ideas on keeping stuff in your sleeping bag to warm them. if you buy a good sleeping bag made for the temperature you are in it can be quite comfortable camping in cold weather. I have camped out ice fishing and had a lot of fun and Tequila. if you wring your socks out and sleep in them they will usually dry out also.
I think the key to the warmth was the Tequila Bruce.
I haven’t done a whole lot of winter camping, maybe few times as a kid, but having a warm sleeping bag can sure make a difference in cold weather. The tip about placing something between you and the ground other than the sleeping bag is a crucial tip too.
